Coverage

Coverage is the share of a portfolio's disclosed holdings that Follow can hold as tokenised stocks. The rest stays as USDT in your account.

What it is measured against

The base is the portfolio as it is disclosed: every position with a value in the latest filing, weighted by its share of the total. For a fund that is its quarterly 13F, for a member of Congress their trade reports. Weights follow the values reported on the report date, not today's prices.

A filing does not contain everything a fund owns. A 13F lists long positions in US-listed securities and nothing else: no cash, no short positions, no private holdings, and most non-US listings are absent. Coverage says how much of the disclosed book Follow can hold; it says nothing about what the filing leaves out.

What counts as held

A stock or ETF whose ticker has a token on Ondo Global Markets. Renamed symbols and share classes are resolved first, so a holding reported under an older symbol still counts. Where a source reports its own cash, as members of Congress do through their sales, that cash is held as USDT and counts as held: holding cash as cash is faithful.

What stays as USDT

Each reason is its own row under the coverage bar, and the row opens to the names behind it.

  • No token yet: a listed US stock or ETF that has no token, or whose token is not trading.
  • Options: put and call positions. Follow never substitutes the stock for an option.
  • Bonds: debt positions, reported by principal amount.
  • Short positions and crypto: reported by some members of Congress; neither can be held as a stock token.
  • Funds: a fund without a token. An ETF with a token counts as held.
  • Other instruments: a filing row that does not resolve to a listed US ticker, such as foreign ordinary shares, units or warrants.

Their combined share is the part of the bar that is not green, and the money for it waits in your account as USDT.

When coverage changes

A new filing changes the base; a new token on Ondo turns a "no token yet" row into a holding at the next pass. Your position follows both without any action from you, as described under keeping it in line.
