Two ways in
USDT on BNB Chain, the recommended way: send it to your Follow wallet's own address and it is buying power the moment it lands, with no fee. Most exchanges withdraw USDT to BNB Chain (BEP-20) directly.
Another coin or network: USDC, USDT or ETH on Base, Arbitrum, Ethereum, Optimism or Polygon. The deposit screen gives you an address that is yours alone; send to it from any wallet or exchange, with nothing to sign, and it lands in your Follow wallet as USDT on BNB Chain within about a minute, converted on the way. The fee is taken from what arrives, about 0.4% of it, and is shown on the screen before you send. Send at least $5.
A deposit adds available money; it does not buy a portfolio.
Paying for a purchase
Purchases are paid in USDT on BNB Chain, which is what every deposit arrives as, so nothing is converted at the moment of a purchase. When your wallet holds less than the amount, the card's button asks you to deposit the difference first, and the total fee shows under the button before you confirm.
Network fees
Some wallet actions need network fees as well as the amount being moved. Review the quote and any wallet prompt; fees explains the costs and Follow's network-fee support.
What converting costs is on fees.
