Referrals
Bring someone to Follow and earn a share of Follow's own fee on every trade made for their account, for as long as they use it. They pay nothing extra.

What you earn
Follow charges 0.10% on the money a person puts in and 0.50% on the trades it makes for them afterwards (see Fees). When that person came to Follow through you, a share of each of those fees is yours. The share starts at 5% and rises through five levels to 25%. It comes out of Follow's side: the person you brought pays the same two numbers as everyone else, and a creator's fee is never part of it.
The five levels
Each level is a shield, a share, and what the last 90 days must hold for it. A level needs both of its numbers where it has two.
Level 1 · Graphite5%Where everyone starts. Nothing to meet.
Level 2 · Bronze10%In the last 90 days, 1 person you brought made their first trade.
Level 3 · Silver15%In the last 90 days, 5 people you brought made their first trade, and all the people you brought generated $100 of Follow fee between them.
Level 4 · Gold20%In the last 90 days, 15 people you brought made their first trade, and all the people you brought generated $500 of Follow fee between them.
Level 5 · Diamond25%In the last 90 days, 40 people you brought made their first trade, and all the people you brought generated $2,000 of Follow fee between them.
How your level is set
Your level is read from the last 90 days alone: how many of the people you brought made their first trade in that time, and how much Follow fee the accounts of everyone you brought generated in it. Nothing from before the window counts, so a level comes down as well as up: bring nobody new for a season and you drift back to 5%. The rate in force when a trade settles is the rate that trade pays you.
The levels are new and will be tuned as Follow learns what bringing people is worth; the ones in force are always on this page and drawn on your Referrals page.
What the Referrals page shows
Your share of Follow's own fee on every trade Follow makes for the people you brought, at your level today, with the level's shield beside it.
Accounts that signed up through your link or named you under Account. "Trading" counts the ones whose account has made its first trade; only those count toward your level.
The five shields on one line, yours lit, the line filled toward the next by the slower of its two numbers. Under it, how far the last 90 days have come toward the next level.
Your share, added up as each trade settles, over the window picked. Every point is one trade a referred account made; the Earnings list under the cards names them, newest first, with Follow's fee on each and your share of it.
How a referral is counted
Your referral name is chosen once, on your Referrals page, and cannot be changed. Every link you share from Follow while signed in carries it: your referral link, a portfolio's page from its Share button, your own page. Someone who opens one of them and signs up within 30 days is yours. An account has one referrer, bound when it is made and never changed; when several links were followed, the last one counts. Someone who signed up without a link can type your referral name under Account within 30 days of signing up. You cannot refer yourself, and a person you referred cannot refer you.
A referral counts toward your level once their account has made its first trade. A sign-up that never puts money in earns nothing and counts for nothing.
What you could earn
Move how many people you bring and what each puts in, and the level and the yearly figure follow. The figure is Follow's fee on their trades times your share at that level, before anything the market does.

What you are paid
Your share is paid by the trade itself. When a trade of someone you brought settles, their account sends your share of Follow's fee to your Follow wallet in that same transaction, in USDT on BNB Chain, and the rest to Follow. Nothing is owed to you at any point and there is no payout to wait for or request: the money is in your wallet the moment the trade is booked, under Buying power on Portfolio, where it can follow something or be withdrawn like any other dollar. Your Referrals page lists each trade and what it paid you, with its transaction.
Referral earnings are kept apart from what a portfolio you publish earns you (see The creator fee): the one is a share of Follow's fee, the other is your own fee, and the two add up.
