Publish a portfolio

Anyone signed in can publish a portfolio: a list of stocks and their weights, with a page, a chart and a dated record kept by Follow from the second it goes live. Followers copy it with their own money, and you earn the yearly fee you set.

Watch: publish a portfolio

Every step on the site itself, from Earn to a published page and its first update. The steps are written out below.

Step by step

  1. Sign in, open your menu at the top right and press Earn. The first time, three short screens say what publishing is; then press New portfolio.
  2. The box that opens asks for the name, the About (what is in it, how you run it and when it changes, then the bet; it is the first thing a visitor reads), the category, a picture if you want one, and the yearly fee, from none to 5% a year. Everything in the box is saved as you change it. Press Done.
  3. Under Holdings, search a name (its ticker or the company) and it appears as a row. Type its weight, to a tenth of a percent, at least 1% per name and at most 40 names. Cash is whatever the weights leave, held as USDT in every follower's account.
  4. Press Publish. The box shows the list, the address the page will have, your handle, the fee and that the record starts now. Press Publish again and the page is on Explore that second.
  5. Share the page. Its address, and the Share button on the page, carry your referral name, so anyone who signs up through it is your referral too (see Referrals).
  6. To change it, edit the weights in the same table and press Publish update. The box lists what changes; every follower's account is rebalanced toward the new version within minutes, and the version appears under Activity with its date.

What a published portfolio gets

Exactly the page every portfolio on Follow has: the chart from the moment of publication, Holdings with each name's price, Activity with every version you published and when, Coverage, and your About. On Explore it sits in the row of its category, with your name and picture under the title, and the blue check beside your name once your X account is verified (see the verified check). Nothing is backfilled: the record is real because it begins the second the page goes live.

The address is taken from the name at the first publication and stays whatever the name becomes, so a link you shared keeps working. Unpublish takes the page off Explore while the accounts already following keep what they hold; you can publish it again any time.

What it earns you

Your feenone to 5% a year a year

On what each follower puts in, accruing every second, paid to your wallet by itself as their accounts settle it. Follow keeps none of it. In full under The creator fee.

What you seeOn Earn

Followers, what they follow with, what you have earned, what is accruing this second, and the earnings line, for every portfolio and for each one alone.

What you payNothing

Publishing, updating and the page are free. Follow's own fees are the same on every portfolio and fall on the follower's trades (see Fees).

Before you publish

A page is published as information, not advice, under the terms. Publish under your own name: a name that belongs to someone else comes down when it is reported. Followers see your About first, so say what the portfolio is and how you run it in plain words.
