The creator fee
A creator sets a yearly rate, from none to 5% a year, on what each follower puts into their portfolio. It accrues every second, is recorded on chain, lands in the creator's wallet by itself, and Follow keeps none of it.

What it is
Set by the creator under Edit on their portfolio, a hundredth of a percent at a time. It is a yearly rate, so a 1% fee on $1,000 following is $10 a year, accrued as about 2.7 cents a day.
What a follower has put into that portfolio, less what they have taken out. Not on gains, not on the account's value as prices move, and never on the creator's own follow of their portfolio.
Follow takes no share of a creator's fee. Follow's own fees are the same on every portfolio and are listed under Fees.
What a follower sees and agrees to
The rate is part of the fee line in the follow box, under the amount: "Total fee ≈ $1.75 + 1% a year", with the dollars a year at the typed amount in the tooltip beside Follow's own fees. The rate a follower agrees to when they follow is written into their account on BNB Chain. The creator can lower it afterwards, and the cut applies to everyone at once; a raise applies only to people who follow after it, and the account of anyone already following keeps the rate they agreed to.
The follower's account reserves what it owes before every purchase, so the fee never comes out of a trade, and the holdings table and the account value always show what is theirs after it.
How it accrues and when it moves
Inside each follower's account the fee accrues continuously, as a number. The creator watches it tick on Earn, under "accruing now", and the run rate says what it comes to a year at today's followers.
It becomes money in the creator's wallet in two cases. When a follower withdraws or leaves, their account pays what it owes as part of that transaction. And once a follower's account owes at least a dollar, Follow's operator sends the collection itself and pays the network fee for it, a fraction of a cent on BNB Chain. The dollar threshold exists so that nobody ever pays a network fee to move pennies. Neither the creator nor the follower pays anything for the transfer, and neither has to do anything.
The payment lands under Buying power on the creator's Portfolio, where it can follow something or be withdrawn like any other dollar, and it appears as a point on the earnings line on Earn and as an arrival under Activity on Portfolio. There is no claiming and no separate payout to request.
The figures on Earn
Earn carries no explanations of its own; what each figure means is here.
Accounts following your portfolios right now, other than your own. The line under it counts the ones that arrived in the last thirty days.
What those accounts have put in, read from the chain; your fee is a share of this a year. On one portfolio's page the line under it says what you have put into your own follow of it.
What you publish on Explore. A draft is yours alone until you publish it, and counts under the figure as a draft.
Your yearly fee on what follows you, at today's followers. "Accruing now" is what they owe you this second, ticking; it is paid out as their accounts settle it.
Everything followers' accounts have paid to your wallet, all time or in the window picked, each payment a point on the line. It shows under Buying power on Portfolio.
What a creator could earn
The fee is a share of what followers put in, a year, per portfolio. Move the money following a portfolio and the fee to see what it comes to; the figure is before anything the market does, and a creator can publish as many portfolios as they like, each earning its own.
$83 a month, from this one. Publish as many portfolios as you like. Each earns its own.
On chain
When a creator first publishes with a fee, Follow records their wallet and their rate in a registry on BNB Chain. Every follower account made after that reads the rate from the registry when it is created, keeps it as a cap it can never exceed, and pays the creator's wallet directly. Only the creator's own wallet can change where their fee is paid.
A portfolio with no fee can be followed on any Follow account. A portfolio with a fee can only be followed on an account that knows how to pay one, which every account made since October 2026 does.
Changing or ending it
The creator can change the rate at any time under Edit. Lowering it is immediate for everyone. Raising it applies to new followers only. Unpublishing takes the portfolio off Explore, so nobody new can follow it, while the accounts already following keep their holdings, keep paying the rate they agreed to for as long as they stay, and can leave whenever they like. Publishing it again carries its record on.
Creators publish their portfolios as information, not as investment advice, and Follow does not vet them. The terms say what each side agrees to.
